Human Resource Development Centre (HURDEC) Pvt Ltd was established as a management training and consulting organization in early 1990. Diligent Consulting, Tanzania


Diligent Consulting Ltd. (DCL) is a Tanzanian consulting firm operating primarily in the fields of agricultural economics, agribusiness and SME Development including value chain analysis, and international trade. DCL offers services for research and short-term studies, policy analysis, and capacity development – in Tanzania and abroad.


Professor Andrew E. Temu of Sokoine University of Agriculture serves as the company’s Executive Chairman. Since start of operations in 2007, DCL and its directors have undertaken assignments for various international and national clients, including the World Bank, FAO, IFAD, Danida, SNV, AFRACA, the Tanzanian Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Cooperatives, Ministry of Trade, Industry and Marketing, Tanzania Federation of Cooperatives, REPOA (poverty research), USAid, Tanzania Gatsby Trust, and Tanzania Sugar Board.
